Supply Chain

Powering local opportunity

Supply chain

Discover opportunities to work with Pentland and help build the supply chain and skills needed to realise the potential of floating offshore wind.

Pentland has prepared a Supply Chain Development Statement, outlining our commitment to developing the local supply chain.

This work has helped us understand existing supply chain capabilities and identify areas where we can support local expenditure, job creation and skills development. It will also give us early visibility of future opportunities and help us engage with the supply chain as widely as possible.

Opportunities

Pentland will be opening specific tender opportunities on North Sea Transition Authority’s Energy Pathfinder, a portal providing visibility of upcoming opportunities on the UK Continental Shelf. To see how the Energy Pathfinder works you can view this guidance video. It is recommended you bookmark the portal for reference.

As well as expressing interest with us directly, we would encourage suppliers to engage with local offshore wind clusters. Pentland is working closely with the Clean Energy Cluster as well as NOF. It will also pay to keep an eye on industry events for example those run by Scottish Renewables and Renewable UK.
