Today we have launched an online pre-application consultation and information update to outline key updates to the onshore elements of the Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm. The virtual exhibition is available at www.openplans.uk/pentland/
This onshore update details changes to the onshore application boundary, explains the environmental surveys that have been undertaken and provides visualisations of indicative substation locations. The virtual exhibition also has a feedback form where you can provide feedback on the project.
On 1st September two live chat sessions will be held where you can ask the project team questions. This will be conducted through a live chat function on the exhibition homepage from 12.00 - 14.30 and from 18.00 – 20.30. If you are unable to connect to the chat, you can call 07789 950 845 during the time slots. Alternatively, you are welcome to send any questions or feedback to Pentland-stakeholder@cop.dk. Please submit any feedback by 19 September to be considered within this consultation process.
Please note that any comments made on the proposals at this stage are not representations to the planning authority. When the application is submitted to The Highland Council (anticipated in October 2022), neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have an opportunity then to make formal representations to the Council.
